This article designs an automatic calibration system for fuel dispensers, which consists of two parts: calibration equipment and control network. The purpose of the system is to change the current situation of fuel dispenser calibration work in finished oil sales enterprises, and the main technical parameters of calibration include errors and repeatability. The system has the functions of simple operation, accurate results, ensuring data security, preventing data fraud, and preventing the theft of calibrated oil products used. The article elaborates on the overall design concept of the system, the technical requirements of each part, and the implementation methods of the technical requirements, demonstrating the actual functions of each part of the system and comparing the accuracy of measurements taken by different terminal devices. Finally, the usage of the system was described, indicating that it can effectively shorten the calibration work time, reduce the calibration work intensity, complete the calculation of calibration results, upload and sort data information, and update the calibration work progress in real time, and provide warning s based on the calibration results.

Compressed air, serving as a vital power source, is widely utilized in the petrochemical industry. On a certain offshore oil and gas drilling platform, three separate air systems—production plant air, drilling plant air, and nitrogen production plant air—are established based on varying air demands, with two air compressors in each system. This self-initiated renovation accomplished the breakthrough in interconnecting the air systems. By adding process pipelines, optimizing communication methods, and configuring joint control programs, the air pipeline networks of the three systems were interconnected, and the six air compressors were linked together. After the renovation, the stability of the air systems was significantly enhanced, and the overall energy consumption of the equipment was reduced.

Abstract: Aiming at the problems such as bias ambiguity in traditional HAZOP and ineffective verification of safety measures, HYSYS software was used to conduct steady-state modeling, result verification and dynamic simulation with the associated gas light hydrocarbon recovery process as the research object, and the influence of the deviation of "excessive liquid level of reboiler in deethane tower" on system parameters was analyzed. The specific value of deviation from normal conditions is determined, and the effectiveness of safety measures is verified. Finally, the severity level of consequences is revised according to the simulation results. The results show that too large opening of the inlet control valve of the cryogenic separator and too small opening of the bottom control valve of the deethane tower will cause the risk of overpressure of the tank, the flooded tower and the equipment, and the failure of the heavy contact tower bottom pump will not cause serious accidents. The evaluation results based on dynamic simulation only need to add the level and pressure control loop to achieve safe and smooth operation of the reboiler, without the need to add other protective layers to reduce the risk level. The research results are of great significance for improving the intrinsic safety of station and yard process.

Currently, the supervision of safety helmet wearing by operating personnel in oil and gas stations mainly relies on video surveillance through surveillance cameras and manual on-site inspections, which cannot achieve round-the-clock monitoring and incurs high labor costs. In response to the aforementioned issues, a safety helmet wearing detection system for oil and gas stations has been developed. Utilizing the YOLOv5s object detection algorithm, it detects individuals who are not wearing safety helmets within the area and alerts relevant personnel through various alarm methods. Furthermore, it can be integrated and linked with existing systems in oil and gas stations to achieve information interconnection and collaborative management of the stations. Practical application demonstrates that this system can accurately identify employees who are not wearing safety helmets correctly, enhancing the intelligent safety management capabilities of oil and gas stations.

Abstract: Long distance carbon dioxide pipelines are relatively rare in China, and there is a lack of on-site application research on corresponding leak detection technologies. On site testing and application research of distributed fiber optic leak detection technology were conducted based on a newly constructed dense phase carbon dioxide long-distance pipeline. This article introduces the principles and engineering settings of distributed fiber optic sound sensing and fiber optic temperature sensing technologies, and elaborates on the layout scheme of simulated leakage devices. The medium inside the pipeline is introduced as the gas source, and on-site simulated small hole leakage tests are conducted. The test results are analyzed, and the advantages and disadvantages of distributed fiber optic sound sensing and fiber optic temperature sensing technologies are summarized. Specific optimization and improvement measures are proposed based on the test results and the operation of the field. The precautions for the application of distributed fiber optic leak detection technology are summarized and the next research directions are proposed.

Abstraction: In the instrument explosion-proof of petrochemical plants, intrinsic safety explosion-proof technology is widely used. Intrinsic safety verification is the process of calculating and verifying the intrinsic safety characteristics of an intrinsic safety circuit. This article first introduces the basic concepts of intrinsic safety verification. Then, taking a large-scale integrated petrochemical project under construction in Zhanjiang, Guangdong as an example, the intrinsic safety verification of Profibus PA intrinsic safety circuit was introduced, and the FISCO intrinsic safety verification method was analyzed and supplemented with examples. Furthermore, this article discusses the issue of the location of associated apparatus (safety barriers) and provides examples to illustrate some cases where associated apparatus are arranged in explosive hazardous areas. Subsequently, this article analyzed the setting of surge protectors in intrinsically safe circuits, their explosion-proof types and intrinsic safety parameters, and their impact on the intrinsic safety characteristics and intrinsic safety calculations of the circuit. Next, this article takes the example of a remote type temperature transmitter and a reed switch magnetic level transmitter to illustrate how to identify intrinsic safety equipment and related devices for intrinsic safety circuits with "simple equipment" links, and conduct rigorous and scientific intrinsic safety verification based on this.
