    This article mainly introduced the application of PLC in Vapor recovery monitoring systems for gasoline filling station. Through to the system’s hardware design method and the programming mentality's introduction, the article from the design application's angle introduced a gasoline vapor on-line monitoring system composed by OPLC, the superior machine, the sensor and so on. The system uses the OPLC data acquisition operation technology and the data bus mechanics of communication, in addition the superior machine industry configuration software man-machine conversation contact surface, the real-time monitor, the real-time long-distance issue, enable the entire gasoline vapor on-line monitoring system to achieve the online continuous monitoring and recycling gasoline vapor’s Air to liquid volume ratio, pipeline's stopping property and the fluid anti- situation request.

    Control valves with micro flowrates (CV <0.1), for high pressure difference (△P> 10Mpa) working applications, inevitably cause flashing or cavatition,which issues in problems such as mechanical vibration, stem breakage, erosion of the sealing surface, noises and so on.To decrease them, a orifice plate was introduced with multi-stages as throttling elements,aiming at the achievement of proportional pressure difference between stages, which could reduce flashing, cavatition and erosion in sealing area. Firstly, the key dimensions was determined by use of formulas ,and then CFD software was used to calculate the fluid conditions inside the valve. The result of numerical simulation and flow test, eventually shows that the theoretical calculation and numerical simulation are reliable.

    Abstract: Liquid level is one of the main technological parameters of chemical production, the traditional differential pressure level technology has been widely used in the production, but It is difficult to applied in the high type containers and tower. Through the background introduction, liquid level measurement system composition and heat tracing conditions introduction, the article introduces a series of level measurement error caused by the liquid level increase and the growth of the sealing liquid pipeline after PTA oxidation reactor upgrading. The causes of problems is illustrated by computation. And then, paper introduces the measuring principle, components and advantages of Rosemount 3051 s/ERS liquid level transmitter retrofit scheme. Finally illustrate the feasibility of the scheme through the application example.

Compared with western country, active safety such as high integrity pressure protection system (HIPPS) had been used in part of the chemical and refinery projects. What is difference on using HIPPS? It depends on standards and codes, no relative in domestic whereas recommended in western country. This paper described the concept, selection principle, implement, and detail specification of HIPPS, which will be the reference on adopting the HIPPS.

The steady simulation has been gotten an extensive application in the process designing of the oil and gas production process system, but for non-steady state process, such as process system initial start-up and shutdown, the research has to ask for the help of dynamic state process simulation software. Using the Hysys dynamic state function, the page has studied the initial start-up and shutdown process in the oil and gas treatment process system, the result can give an effective guidance to the actual process production.

In 2007, GB20950 ( Emission standard of air polluntant for bulk gasoline terminals ) was proposed by SEPA (State Environmental Protection Administration) to reduce the gasoline vapor emissions in the bulk gasoline terminals. According to this standard, vapor recovery unit should be installed in every bulk gasoline terminal before the deadline.     PI controller and decoupler based on feedforward strategy for ball mill

    Abstract:The ball mill object has got some problems such as multi-input-multi-output, strong coupling, large time delay.This paper presents a new multivariable decoupling PI control strategy. First, a decoupler is proposed to achieve complete decoupling. Second, a model reduction method is obtained with a target for the first-order plus dead time model(FOPDT). Based on the simplified model, a feedforward compensator is applied to the process and this article offers a easy parameter tuning PI controller. In order to demonstrate the performance of the proposed method it is applied to a ball mill model, the results show that the new strategy is superior to the general method in the following aspects:set-point following performance, model reduction, complete decoupling.

    In order to solve the problem of modular neural network (MNN) ensemble. This paper integrated the ideas of “divide and conquer” and “put the heads together”, and proposed a measure of selecting sub-nets on-line. For a given input, this method calculated the distance of the input and the center of sub-nets firstly, and then constructed the fuzzy member degree based on distance measurement, finally realized on-line sub-nets selection by fuzzy judgement. The number of sub-nets varied to different inputs. This made the MNN’s self-adapting ability be stronger. It ensembled multi sub-nets by linear method. The weights of sub-nets were optimized by reconstructing the sample space and dynamic programming. The simulation results suggest that this method can improve the precision and generalization ability effectively.

According to the detail identification of hazardous chemicals major hazard installations and the complete device node hazard and probability analysis which the main production process of an annual output of chloroacetic acid 50000t project, the paper have confirmed the Safety Integrity Level(SIL) of the liquid chlorine storage and vaporization device, analyzed and carried out the major control parameters. It have been designed the SIS system of the device and the complete interlock and control, and put into production operation. The SIS system have been running well in the actual production and ensuring safe production of the production device which represents the SIS system’s reliability, security and the characteristics in the production of the chloroacetic acid project.

    The small dynamic pressure measurement is a hard technical problem in oil drilling, the paper proposed a design of PSI pulsed gas generator, which can provide reliable support in terms of design, debug, calibration, scaling for the precise instruments. Pulsed gas whose pressure and frequency are adjustable is produced by the gas generator whose accuracy can be 0.1PSI. In addition, the gas generator can also support RS232/RS485 output convenient for filed debug and remote communications.The design has been used in oil drilling and it produces good results, which has good practical prospect.

In chemical and petrochemical area, although conventional transmitter with 4-20mA plus HART protocol prevails widely, but the advanced fieldbus configuration and concept, such as PROFIBUS-PA, Foundation Fieldbus, has been introduced in domestic plants by international chemical company, BASF, Celanese. The writer is fortunate to adopt PROFIBUS-PA currently, and find out and summarize some experience in PROFIBUS-PA application, which is shared below.
