    Orifice flowmeter is a kind of device which uses differential pressure measurement method to measure flow. It is widely used in water vapor, natural gas and other media. It is composed of throttling element (orifice), pressure pipe and differential pressure transmitter. In the process of using, medium temperature, density, distance of installing straight pipe, installation method of pressure pipe and precision of throttling element will affect orifice For the flow measurement of flowmeter, this paper summarizes the troubleshooting method, measuring principle and daily maintenance of orifice flowmeter through the fault that orifice flowmeter is inaccurate or unable to measure the steam flow caused by the impulse pipeline, which can be used for reference by the instrument technicians.

    Abstract: The practice of the triethyleneglycol(TEG)dehydration process in the purification company for more than 5 years has shown that the dew point of the product after the process is below -19℃for wet purified gas with a water content of about 0.09%, which meets the natural gas standard requirements. For the abnormal situation of TEG regeneration failure, (1) strictly control the liquid level of the desulfurization unit to prevent contamination of the TEG by the desulfurization solvent entering the dehydration unit caused by the incident of the tower;(2) Strictly control TEG regeneration temperature to not exceed 204 ℃ to prevent TEG degradation; (3) Strictly control the amount of stripping gas above 16m3/h. The above three measures can effectively prevent the unqualified regeneration of TEG.For abnormal conditions of TEG foaming, (1) strengthen the filtering of raw natural gas; (2) control the regeneration temperature to prevent TEG degradation; (3) prevent protecting nitrogenfrom the equipment entering the dehydration system and other measures. The above three measures can effectively prevent TEG foaming.

    Abstract: The temperature control of heavy-duty asphalt production is a complex industrial system with large lag and large inertia. Traditional PID control will inevitably have shocks and excessive overshoot in the heavy-duty asphalt production process, resulting in poor product quality and waste of resources. In view of the above problems, this paper puts forward the idea of controlling the temperature of the asphalt production outlet by controlling the flow rate, combining the predictive PI control algorithm and the dual control algorithm, using the dual control algorithm, using the valve opening and the motor frequency conversion power as the control means. Carry out control, use integral control to reduce the gain to weaken the effect of motor variable frequency control flow, meet the principle of sub-controller fine-tuning, and then use the predictive PI algorithm to control the deviation of the total pipeline flow and temperature to meet the requirements of process production. Through simulation test, based on the predictive PI and dual control algorithm, it can get excellent results in the production process of heavy traffic asphalt, has good stability and anti-interference, and has high use-value.

    The equipment and facilities on offshore oil and gas platform are compact arranged. Oil and gas pipeline runs through the whole platform. Once combustible gas leakage occurs, fair and explosion are likely to follow. The combustible gas detector is an important part of the Fire & Gas system, which should be able to monitor the combustible gas. This article first gives a brief introduction of currently used combustible gas detectors and new combustible gas detectors based on passive spectral imaging detection technology. Then compare these detectors of performance, accuracy, cost, service life, etc. Finally, we analyze the applicability of the passive spectral imaging detectors on offshore platform.

    Natural gas sales were mainly measured by using ultrasonic flow meters, taking Daniel four-channel ultrasonic flow meter as an example, aiming at the application of ultrasonic flowmeter in the measurement of natural gas trade export, a remote diagnosis system for ultrasonic flowmeter was constructed. Through on-site examples, the analysis of remote diagnostic software was used to realize the verification method of the ultrasonic flow meter's measurement performance, gas flow state and other related diagnostic parameters. It also processes and summarizes the on-site fault diagnosis problems. The remote diagnosis system has a good effect in the field and guarantees, the smooth operation of the flow meter provides a basis for failure analysis of foreign trade measurement transfer and production processes, improves the level of measurement management, and has accumulated certain experience for natural gas measurement management.

    With the wide application of DCS system, the problem of DCS alarm becomes more and more prominent. The problems such as the excessive number of alarms, the increase of false alarms and the difficulty in analyzing the causes of alarms have become the difficulties and key points of alarm management in the oil refining industry. How to find out the useful alarm information quickly and accurately, analyze the causes of the alarm correctly, and take corresponding measures in time has become the top priority of the alarm management in the refining industry. In view of the above problems, this paper uses modern computer technology to design and develop a DCS alarm comprehensive management and analysis software. The software integrates the control method of expert system into it, which can not only provide clear histogram of alarm distribution for users, but also analyze the causes of alarm, and give the corresponding alarm processing measures.
