    The storage tank farm production plant has been showing the scale of large-scale, monitoring should seeking intelligent trends, with the continuous development of the petrochemical industry. For the difficulties monitoring temperature, level, pressure and other process parameters, the control system based on wireless transmission technology is used, which is for the monitoring system requirements and functionality, and combining the current rapid development of sensor technology, computer software and hardware technology, intelligent instrument technology. Refer to the application experience in a specific project, there is a brief description of the monitoring system architecture, system configuration, product selection and the realization of system communication and configuration method, to solve the cumbersome wiring problem in a conventional wired instrumentation construction process. The application shows that the use of wireless transmission technology in storage tank farm monitoring system makes the construction quickly and easy and has lower cost, less material and labor, shorter construction period, more convenient post-maintenance and a system with stability, real-time, security, reliability, greatly improved control accuracy and significant economic benefits.

    This paper briefly describe the component of safety instrumented system. The relationship had been studied between Safety Integrity Level and probability of failure. The article analyses safety integrity level and reliability of sensor subsystem in different redundancy architecture to be used the theory of probability. The conclusion is that the different requirement of safety instrumented system needs different redundancy architecture for sensor in safety instrumented system.

    Abstract: This paper introduces a design of gas on-line calibration device based on standard meter method. The calibration system integrates with high-speed pulse counter interfaces of PLC, collects the real-time processing parameters, including temperature, pressure, flow rate signals, realizes fully automatic control of the online calibration and generation of reports. It also makes a preliminary analysis of the system and estimates the uncertainty of system, and presents the effective measures to ensure accuracy and reliability of the calibration results at the same time.

    Determining reasonable spare parts inventory in the large capital-intensive petro-chemical company, needs to consider not only operation effectiveness, but also affordable inventory capital of enterprise that occupies. An analytic model is studied based on actual history consumption data combining with failure overhaul interval for spare parts of petro-chemical company to determine the storage quota of spare parts,by modeling for consumption of the spare parts in large refine devices with the Normal Distribution model and Poison Distribution model in statistics. Finally this method proves to be effective through the actual engineering analysis.
