With large-scale methanol production unit, the unit automation level is higher and higher, the importance of SIS system to security is increasingly prominent. According to IEC61511 standard of the association of international electrotechnical , this paper introduces the SIS system safety integrity level assessment process of the chuanwei 770000 tons/year integration methanol plant,assessment results can meet the SIL rating requirement of the licenser. in the SIS system safety integrity level assessment process when introducing the process package of foreign licenser,there are some problems such as risk control, safety interlock function identification, safety interlock logic structure choice, share of DCS and SIS and independent protection Settings and so on,these issues are discussed in this paper, and proposed the corresponding solution. By summarizing the experience of SIS system quantitative assessment of methanol plant,it can be the reference for implementation of quantitative evaluation of the SIS level of SIS system in the engineering design stage.

In the refinery tank units,there is a problem that fuses on radar level transmitter power loop melt offen due to lightning.By means of analysis and simulation test ,found the reason of the problem:the gasdischarge tubes used in SPD appear flow current.After comparing the SPD with other selected SPD and simulation test ,put forword a solution of selecting suitable SPD. Changing SPDs in some refinery tank units and simulation test prove that the solution is reasonable and efficient.

The successful application of DMC plus on gas fractionation unit Luoyang Petrochemical Co. is introduced. Refiner is a multi-variable, strong coupling of complex objects,it is difficult to carry out effective control in big disturbance and multi constraint conditions,difficult to effectively guarantee the production process requirements for product quality and yield control. Order to further improve the gas separation unit anti-interference ability and stable rate of key process parameters,under the precondition of ensuring the unit safe and stable,setting five control,online optimization of depropanizer、dethanizer、propylene rectification tower(A/B)、propylene rectification tower(C/D) and deisobutanizer operation, the controllers are independent, and have certain inner connection. From an overall consideration, Through the material balance and energy balance in two aspects, together to ensure stable operation of production.Through bettering the basic control, building optimal control interface and comprehensive security strategy .It is not only improved stability of unit operation and product quality,but also increased propylene yield,reduced energy consumption ,relieve the labor intensity of operators。

In this Article, I will introduce the way of establishing communication by the way of profibus (if the two communicating parties have profibus interface) while the analysis of similarities and differences of the modbus communication and the profibus communication. Besides, there are two instances that can help you to understand this communication. At the end of the article, we can get the conclusion that profibus can be another way to establish communication between different kinds of contral systems and this way is reliable, simple and economic.
