It was important to guarantee safe operation of large oil storage tank facilities. With high leakage risk, China commonly used extended service tanks. Applying advanced tank leakage inspection technique and adopt effective measures in early stage of tank leakage, can help to improve the safety and reliability of tank facilities. The paper introduced the advanced idea and recommended practice of American tank leakage prevention technique system, such as leakage prevention management system for tank and process pipeline and loading/unloading operation zone, and leakage prevention technique system for corrosion of tank outer side edge and tank bottom floor and tank wall - tank bottom seam cracking and settlement of tank bottom floor, and recommended by the most favorable environmental protection and the lowest cost of storage tank leakage prevention measures, such as the installation of RPB in the tank bottom. Recondenser is a core device of process operation at LNG terminal, its merits of control systems not only affects the stability of process operation at LNG terminal or not, but also determine the degree of difficulty of processing operations. Given its importance, the paper launched an analysis of recondenser process parameters and control systems. Firstly, it is analyzed that the mass ratio of the LNG to condense BOG and BOG, and recondenser level, and the saturation vapor pressure of high-pump. Then, the merits was made the comparison and analysis that several typical recondenser control systems of domestic LNG terminal. Finally the common control systems were determined by the comprehensive advantages of control systems and added the differntial pressure control. The results showed that, the optimum pressure condensed BOG is 0.7MPaG, and volume greater of recondenser is easier to control systems of self-regulation than the volume smaller, the common control systems are better to ensure the stable operation of the recondenser.

The mechanism modeling of dividing wall columns was built by studying the internal structure of dividing wall columns. The gain scheduling design was used to linearize the nonlinear system of dividing wall columns in the four operating points. For each operating point, the liquid split and side stream which are characteristic of dividing wall columns and the reflux were selected as manipulated variable to design the four temperature control structures and the model predictive controllers. The linear controllers were grouped together to control the nonlinear system. The reliability of the four temperature control structures that designed by gain scheduling design and the model predictive controllers were verified by simulation.
