Based on the necessity of China oil strategy reserves and the development trend of large-scale tank, tanks safety risk level increased. Some in-service tanks fire-fighting system can not meet the requirements of specification, such as tank fixed fire-fighting system can not deal with tank full scale fire, and the low foam supply strength and cooling water supply strength, and lack of diesel fire pump tank farm which not satisfy double loop power supply. The paper introduced the present status and application scope of foreign new foam fire extinguishing technology, including base injection foam extinguishing system, and vehicle fire-fighting facilities, and CFITM system, and TANK GUARD system, and SEF system. Finally, the suggestion to improve reliability and emergency support capacity of tank fixed fire-fighting system was made, including application of floating edge foam fire-fighting system, and foam supply strength no less than 4L/(min?m2), and cooling water supply time no less than 15h, and equipment of diesel fire pump with diesel storage capacity no less than 6h.

Gas and steam flow measurement due to the influence of temperature pressure and there is a certain error.For the flow measurement data are accurate, need to correct the temperature pressure compensation. This paper introduces the commonly used in the chemical plant of differential pressure flowmeter in gas and steam flow measurement of temperature pressure compensation method. First, this paper introduces the measurement principle of differential pressure flowmeter. Second, the gas and steam temperature pressure compensation technology and formula were discussed, then analyze the different practical method of temperature pressure compensation, and the use of the example explained the related formula. A fuzzy-PID algorithm was inserted in configuration software to control a heating furnace by IPC and I/O cards. Temperature process always results with inertia and lag, so a fuzzy-PID algorithm was used to obtain a better result. Some fuzzy rules were applied to correct the parameters of PID online. The experiment was done on MCGS, which VB software and COM technology was used to develop the fuzzy PID module, and applied it on the temperature control of a heating furnace. The experiment results showed that the fuzzy-PID algorithm has better performance on overshoot and setting time.

In view of the short which existed in the traditional PID parameter tuning methods and intelligent PID parameter tuning methods,the PSO combined with chaos theory, proposed chaos particle swarm optimization algorithms based on Logistic mapping , and applies the algorithm in the optimization and tuning of PID parameter .The results show that the algorithm can obtain good setting effect and astringent properties, which verifies the feasibility and superiority of the algorithm.

The Fischer-tropsch synthesis reaction always contained the flammable and explosive gas and reacted in high temperature and high pressure process conditions. In such situation, safety is very important for overall reaction process. In consideration of the importance of safety, emergency blow-down system shall be used as a safeguard. In order to reduce the process pressure or release and shutdown the reaction during emergency scenario of the over temperature or lower level of reboiler, the emergency blow-down system is necessary and shall be started accordingly. Reference mentioned that nozzle has only 30%~50% pressure loss of what orifice has, with same flow and same diameter ratio. And therefore made conclusion that an orifice consume energy up to several hundred thousand of RMB within a year. It seems that orifices have double pressure loss than nozzles. We analyze and calculate the above argument by international standard and national standard. And find that orifices have less pressure loss than nozzle, at the same flow rate, same working conditions and same differential pressure upper limit. Under these conditions, the assumption which has same diameter ratio is not valid. The article also analyzes energy consumption saving by reducing pressure loss can’t convert into economic benefits from the perspective of system. The article analyzes difference between orifice and nozzle in straight pipe requirements, exceed limits, throttling device deformation, wear resistance, economy and uncertainty.
