    Liquid ammonia is a dangerous chemical product. Liquid ammonia tank leakage may easily lead to personal property and safety accident. A design scheme of automatic monitoring and control system for liquid ammonia tank is proposed for a 35000m3 volume tank in this paper. The monitoring system is composed of a distributed control system (DCS), an emergency shutdown system (ESD), a tank gauge system (TGS) and a toxic gas detection system (GDS) to complete the normal state monitoring, emergency shutdown, tank level on line measuring and toxic (ammonia) gas detecting respectively. In addition, a leak detection method based on multi-point temperature and guided wave radar is designed for the special condition of inner and outer tank gap. Moreover, the special instrument selection method for multi-point wall mounted temperature and inner tank valve is also presented. The designed scheme can steadily monitor the state of liquid ammonia tank, and it is feasible.

    CFD software FLACS is selected to simulate falling distance of H2S leakage accident from a sulfur recovery unit. Different impact factors, such as leak height and leak direction, are analyzed to optimize horizontal setting distance of H2S detector. Conclusions are drawn as followed: (1)H2S detectors could be set according to current design code when leakage accident happens lower than 3m height. (2)When leak height is between 3m and 7m, the relationship of horizontal setting distance of H2S detector shown as L and leak height shown as H satisfies the formula: L=11.6H-23.2. (3)When leak height is higher than 7m, the relationship of L and H satisfies the formula: L=7.9H-29.

    Control method of process system is a key and challenging problem because of its inherent strong nonlinearity, large lag and high control precision requirement. A single algorithm generally cannot meet the requirements with the upsizing, integrating, complication of production equipments. The research on MPC-PID cascade control of process system can help to improve the system accuracy, which has important theoretical and practical significance. In this paper, the MPC-PID cascade control is studied, which takes the electric-heated thermostatic water bath as a controlled object. The process model of the electric-heated thermostatic water bath is developed, and simulation control of the electric-heated thermostatic water bath is carried out using MATLAB. The MPC-PID cascade control is contrasted with PID-PID and MPC, and the major control parameters are studied. The control simulation results show that MPC-PID could provide more effective control strategy for industrial process.
    New research on suspension point displacement measurement of oil well pumping unit

    In the oil pumping machine displacement measurement system, the noise and trend of acceleration signal are the two main interference factors of reducing suspension point displacement measurement’s accuracy. On the basis of the problems of obvious noise and large measurement error by the traditional method, it is presented a new method for measuring displacement of oil pumping machine. Firstly, random noise and pulse interference of acceleration signal could be eliminated by composite filtering method. Then the measurement cycle could be promoted by improved cycle extraction algorithm. Finally, integral trend is eliminated by efficient empirical mode decomposition method. Combined with the measured data in Yanchang Oil Well, final experimental results show that interference noise, DC component and trend term are obviously reduced, and the accuracy of displacement measurement is up to 92.74, which lays a good foundation for the noise elimination by other filtering methods. In addition, it’s of great significance to make research on the displacement measurement of oil well pumping unit.

    Introduce the structure and topology of the control system of sewage treatment in Turkey.It used PLC-SCADA system. Different from domestic design, it prefer to use industry communication rather than hardwires to introduce the field signal into system. It contains three control levels, including field detection and execution level, area control level and central monitor and management level. The topology of networks between levels is redundant ring type. Take SIEMENS system as an example, the article stated how to use Profibus DP protocol to form a ring network between PLC and its I/O station, and how to use Profibus PA protocol to form a ring network between field detection and execution level and area control level.

The paper also presents the key factors of sampling transmission lag time which can be greatly shortened by decreasing the distance from sampling probe to the pressure reducing valve or increasing the flow rate of fast loop.     As inlet crude oil watercut increase year by year, water control box of sedimentation tank in field production facilities cannot guarantee the quality of downstream product. In this paper, according to the measurement principle and installation method, the oil-water interface level instrument was selected and analyzed for an oilfield on-line modification sedimentation tank, and single flanged differential pressure level transmitter is recommended to measure oil-water interface level finally. The field practical application show that the oil-water interface can be maintained within the desired range through the closed control loop consisting of a single flanged differential pressure level transmitter and control valve in the tank water outlet line, sequentially the specification of crude oil and produced water at the outlet of the sedimentation tank can meets the requirements of production technology.
