    An Review on the Status of Outside Detection Technology for China Long Distance Pipeline

    Coating damage in the construction of new pipeline, and the corrosion defect in the in-service pipeline will adversely affect the safety of pipeline. The pipeline outside detection can find coating defect in time and guide the repair and maintenance of pipeline. The paper expounded the working contents of outside detection of long distance pipeline. From the aspect of pipeline coating detection technology, the advantages and disadvantages and applicability of more mature and advanced outside detection technology were introduced, such as the standard pipe/ground voltage detection technology ( P/S) ,Pearson detection technology,pipeline current mapping technology,the direct-current voltage gradient( DCVG) method,and the close interval potential method( CIPS).In addition, it also included the non-excavation external detection technology. The application and practical experience of outside detection technology in pipeline engineering in China were systematically summarized, and the main problems in application are analyzed. Finally, the future development trend of pipeline outside detection technology was prospected.

    In petrochemical projects, the storage medium in tank area is complex and there are many poisonous media, but the instrumentation in tank area is relatively simple. Many tank groups do not have safety instrumentation system. Once an accident occurs, the hazard is enormous. According to the requirements of the General Administration of Safety Supervision, it is imperative to reform the safety instrument system in the tank farm in service. Aiming at the problems often encountered in the process of reformation of safety instrument system in tank farm in service, considering the factors of high efficiency, economy, reliability and practicability, this paper puts forward the design scheme of reformation of safety instrument system in tank farm in service, and expounds in detail the key links of safety instrument selection and configuration and Instrument certification. The scheme has been successfully applied to a domestic tank safety instrumentation system renovation project, which has a good reference significance.

    Research of Combined Integral Control System of Voltage Swing in Electroslag Remelting Process

    Electroslag remelting is a process with large inertia and hysteresis, which results in the unsatisfied control effect of traditional constant power control and PID algorithm. Hence, A voltage swing control strategy is proposed based on the combined integral controller. Firstly, the hydraulic drive system used for electrode feeding is simplified to an integrating plus pure hysteresis process. Secondly, a standard deviation calculating model is established based on the combined integral process in order to reflect the voltage swing of the furnace port. Next, a double combined integral controller was designed for the electrode feeding process. Finally, the least square procedure is used to identify a combined integrating process from the Generalized control plant consists of electroslag feeding and voltage swing calculation process. Besides a combined integral master controller is designed for the model to form a cascade control system. Compared with the conventional PID controller, the controller has better control effect and has certain value.

    The B&R temperature experimental apparatus has the characteristics of large time delay, non-linear and parameter time-varying that are difficult to be controlled. The experimental method was used to obtain the mathematical model of object. Aimed at the large time delay characteristics, this paper adopted predictive PI control scheme. The corresponding predictive PI algorithm module was developed on the B&R PLC. ST language was used to program the control algorithm on AS software. The control parameter was easily tuned. Experimental results showed that this control scheme has good robustness and strong anti-interference ability, and has certain practical application value.

    Research on the multi - parameter online identification algorithm of PMSM. Firstly, the advantages and disadvantages of various commonly used identification algorithms are analyzed, and the existing problems of motor parameter identification methods are further studied and analyzed. Then, the advantages and disadvantages of the recursive least squares method and the model reference adaptive parameter identification algorithm are analyzed. Finally, combined with the advantages of model reference adaptive and recursive least squares, an improved recursive least squares method is designed. The simulation experiment of steady and time-varying parameter identification was carried out by the improved algorithm. The identification effect was compared with the algorithm before improvement, which showed that the identification accuracy and speed of the improved algorithm (MRAS-RLS) were improved. The MRAS-RLS algorithm combines the advantages of combining two identification algorithms. The accuracy and speed of the constant parameter identification are very high. The identification follow-up of time-varying parameters is very good, which proves that the improved algorithm is better than the unmodified identification. There are great improvements.

    The functions and workflow of AI(AVEVA Instrumentation) are introduced for date flow of automatic instrument design in this paper. Considering the requirement of external data transfer and automatic control design, the development of base library and template library is described in detail. In addition, to solve the problem of privilege control of designers and system administrators in the intergration platform, the solution is given by grouping and distributing authority with Security Manager. Through project practice, the development improves the design efficiency and accuracy obviously.

    It is necessary to analyse and study the common cable fault type, fault cause, television technology ,in order to dealing with the oil and gas field optical cable line fault quickly. Now ,optical fiber communication is one of the main communication methods on oil and gas fields, optical cable fault affect the data transfer,which caused the production and safety out of control, so the efficient of optical cable fault handling is important. Based on the background, research is performed in cable television technology such as curvilinear analysis, manual three-step has been put forward, meanwhile real-time monitoring system has been put forward. When a cable failure occurs, operation and maintenance staff can deal with the failure quickly with the help of real-time monitoring system, which can gain information of optical cable fault quickly and accurately. The research on manual three-step and real-time monitoring system of cable fault contribute to dealing with the oil and gas field optical cable line fault quickly. The research result may be a good reference to practical application.

    The crude oil shipping pump of an offshore oil production platform undertakes the task of transporting oilfields in the whole region. It plays an important role in the process of ensuring the safe and smooth transportation of crude oil. With the increasing production of the whole oilfield group, the external pressure is bound to increase. Therefore, strengthening the monitoring and management of crude oil shipping pump has become the key to ensure the safe production and smooth transmission of the whole oilfield group. By utilizing the characteristic that Siemens S7-200PLC used by shipping pump and the Emerson Deltav System both support the Modbus communication protocol, the communication scheme of establishing Modbus master-slave protocol between S7-200 PLC and DeltaV system serial commun ication card is implemented, and the hardware and program configuration method of S7-200 PLC and Deltav system serial communication card is realized. Finally, the communication between the PLC and the central control DCS system was successfully realized, and the on-line data acquisition of the central control DCS system for shipping pump operation was completed.

    In order to resolve the issues of flow line pipe rupture caused by in highly corrosive fluid in one of the Middle East sour oil field, the article analysis of the solution of HIPPS to protect the overpressure of flow line, and verify the structure constrains and PFDavg constrains based on IEC 61508, ISA TR84.00.02. The fault tree method is used to calculate the PFDavg of the HIPPS system, after analysis the potential failures of the system, the system can achieve SIL 3 and meet the process safety requirement; it is an economical and technical acceptable measure for the flow line overpressure protection.
