    Compressor is widely used in the field of petrochemical engineering. The on-line monitoring of shaft vibration relies on eddy current sensor. When vibration signals are transmitted over long distances, their reliability is limited by cable length. However, there is no clear theoretical basis for the relationship between cable length and sensor reliability at present, which leads to many problems in the field. Based on the above engineering practice, this paper discusses the two main factors affecting the cable length, signal attenuation and explosion-proof requirements, from the working principle of eddy current sensor, and proves the influence of the target cable length on the reliability of the sensor through the intrinsically safe circuit verification. The conclusion of this paper provides theoretical basis and practical reference for the judgment of vibration signal transmission distance.

    Abstract: In order to solve the problem that the leakage sound signal will be mixed with noise during the propagation process of oil and gas pipeline leakage, the variational mode decomposition (VMD) in the pipeline leakage denoising application, proposed a multi-scale permutation entropy (MPE) and wavelet threshold denoising (WT) combined VMD-MPE-WT denoising algorithm. The Matlab software is used to simulate and analyze the signal processing results. The results show that compared with wavelet denoising, VMD denoising and VMD-WT denoising, this joint denoising algorithm can get higher signal-to-noise ratio and smaller mean square error in the leaked sound signal under strong noise, and the denoising effect is better.

    Clean gasoline is of great significance to energy conservation and emission reduction in the transportation sector. Therefore, it is urgent for China to study gasoline cleaning technology to cope with the environmental burden brought by the increasing number of motor vehicles. The key to clean gasoline is to reduce the sulfur and olefin content in gasoline while keeping its octane number as much as possible. Based on the measured data of industrial production of gasoline products, this paper explores the improvement path of gasoline cleaner process from multiple perspectives such as data mining and operation optimization. First of all, this paper preprocesses the original data and sample data to ensure the quality of subsequent models. Secondly, in order to reduce the complexity of the model, the main variables of the prediction model are screened out through the gradient descent regression tree. Thirdly, considering the highly nonlinear and strongly coupled relationship between operating variables, BP neural network is used to establish the prediction models of main variables on octane loss and product sulfur content respectively. Finally, a two-stage optimization model of operation optimization of major variables is established, and the effect of gradual adjustment of operation variables is visualized to provide reference for industrial production.

    With the in-depth development of the digital transformation of traditional enterprises, the concept of digital twin has emerged and is widely applied in the field of intelligent manufacturing. This paper aims to exploit the digital twin principle to optimize production process parameters, i.e., to reduce the exhaust gas emissions from direct-fired thermal oxidizer in a refining & chemical plant. First, based on the historical production data, a digital twin model of physical equipment is established through stepwise regression, multiple linear regression, and monotonicity analysis algorithms. Second, according to the real-time production data, the above-mentioned model is used to calculate the optimal parameters. Finally, the calculated parameters are returned to the equipment in real time through the system interfaces. The results show that the exhausts can be effectively reduced by this method while the energy consumption of the equipment is basically unchanged, with the purpose of production optimization achieved.

    In the chemical industry, the reliability and availability of safety instrumented systems (SIS) are the focus of attention. Several methods for calculating the average probability of failure on demand(PFDavg)of SIS are proposed in functional safety standards like IEC61508. Among these methods, Markov method covers many safety-related factors, such as failure mode, proof test, restorations, and common cause. The analysis model is more flexible and the calculation results are more accurate. However, for KooN, a complex system with redundant configuration, with the increase in the number of components, the number of intermediate states of the system increases rapidly, so it is difficult for users to build Markov models. Even with the help of computers, modeling and operation are time-consuming. In this paper, a Markov modeling method of degenerate state is proposed. Firstly, the degraded state is judged, and the intermediate state that meets the conditions is merged. And then, the state transition probability marked as dangerous failure is calculated. The example shows that the degenerate state method can simplify the Markov modeling without loss of accuracy.
